Sho Ota
is a designer from Japan, based in the Netherlands. With six years of experience creating and designing wooden furniture in his home country, he sought further education in design and moved to the Netherlands. In 2018 he graduated with a master's degree from the Design Academy Eindhoven, Contextual Design Department and soon after opened his own studio in Eindhoven. Drawing upon his experience in furniture making in Japan, he is now able to create more collectible, unique designs without the constraints of efficiency.
